Tattapani Hot Springs and River Rafting on River Sutlej.
River rafting is possible on the Sutlej river, 30 kms from The Chalets, Naldera Situated on the right bank of river Satluj, Tattapani is just 30 kms from Naldehra, along a road winding through the scenic countryside. The hot sulphur springs here, are noted for their invigorating and curative powers.
Go for river rafting on the Sutlej river, down at Chabba upto the sulphur springs at Tattapani. On the way to Tattapani from Naldehra.Trained river running guides conduct the rafting trips. Also visit the historic Lord Shiva caves at a short distance ahead.

Enchanting trails winding through the forest.Mashobra, (Craignano, Bekalty Road, Shali Peak).
Pine and oak woods frame Mashobra, 12 km from Naldehra. Enchanting trails wind through the forest to lovely gardens. Through thick woods, a side road leads to Bekhalty. From the heart of Mashobra, a pedestrian track leads down to Sipur. This is a large and exquisite glade shaded by ancient cedar trees. Streams of cool water gently divide it. The pastoral picture is completed by the temples on the edge. A trek to Shali Peak - the highest in the area, can be made from Mashobra.

Kufri (2622 m):
A little hamlet, just 16 km from Naldehra, offers views of the countryside and the majestic Himalayan mountains. The winter sports capital, Kufri is the focal point of a large number of ski enthusiasts who come here to enjoy the ski slopes. Here one can experience a rare Yak ride and visit the mini Zoo (Indira tourist park) to view some rare Himalayan wildlife.

Fagu (2,509 m):
22 kms from Naldehra, Fagu is a vantage point with panoramic views of the ranges and valleys. Picturesquely located amidst forests and orchards, it is an interesting village and serves as a good base for exploring the fantastic nearby countryside.

Narkanda (2,708 M):
An enchanting 64 km drive from Shimla, brings you to Narkanda, which is a popular skiing resort in winter. It has a choice of ski slopes - a beginner's run and sharper descents for the seasoned foot. Narkanda is well poised to hold out some of the finest views of the inner Himalayas.

Chail:
45 kms from Naldehra, Chail is the erstwhile summer capital of The Maharaja of Patiala. Visit the highest cricket ground in the world situated here. Lunch at beautiful Chail Palace hotel before taking some memorable pine scented walks through unending dense forests.

Shimla (Jakhu Temple, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Mall, Ridge, Shopping):The ridge at Shimla.
Spilling over the steep slopes of a 12 km ridge, in the lower Himalayas, is Shimla (22 kms from Naldehra), the summer capital of erstwhile British India. Now the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh, it evokes a sense of nostalgia with its pretty gabled cottages, half-timbered buildings and old churches. The Mall is agog with elegant shops and bustling, gay cosmopolitan crowds. In the center of the city is the famous scandal point. The Ridge is a place where all tourist flock and spend time. While in Shimla, one can tour Viceregal Lodge - the imposing six-storey edifice, which is today the institute for advanced studies, Jakhu hill - the highest point of Shimla with a famous temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. St. Michael's Cathedral on the Ridge, is regarded as the second oldest church in north India and is known for its fine stained glass windows.
