Though Parkwoods is just 3 kms off the Kalka-Shimla highway (seems like 300 km when you are in there!), it is easily missable. Below are some images portraying what one misses!

10 kms away is the Tara Devi temple at a height of 7000 feet. In winters, the slopes are laden with snow. Catch lovely view of the Himalayan ranges through conifers.
